Ark is a very large game and is quite the test for even the best computers. The game is hardly polished and a bit rough on computer, even so our favorite online game store, Steam, has givin us the minimal requirements to play on desk top or laptop.

  • OS: Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit versions)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-2400/AMD FX-8320 or better
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 670 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or better
  • DirectX: Version 10
  • Storage: 60 GB available space

Playing on console is my perferred method. I find that my ps4 handles it well enough, and as long as you have good wifi it is enjoyable. The only thing you might have to worry about on console in storage, make sure you have room for the 91gb game.

Mobile, the forbidden platform... Although it is every games least favorite platform there is one thing its good for, burning time. What better way is there to burntime than playing ark mobile? The answer is probably nothing, but you will want to make sure to have an Iphone 7 or better, and at least 3gb of ram on a android.
